Hi folks,
Haven't posted here in a while. I'm still in the learning curve with camera and lens but I think it's more a learning curve to photography in general. I have had some great shots and some I thought would be great that I tossed because I didn't use the proper settings at the time. Anyway a recent shot or two from the 510, great camera overshadowed by the new 620 but still great.

Great shots both! I like the jay. Detailed enough that you picked up the slushlets on his tail.

Hi Eric,
Those are two fine examples of what the E-510/70-300mm combo can do.

I agree with your assessment of the E-510. The exposure on the E-510 can be a bit quirky. I had one for a couple of years.
I found the output, when I got the settings right, was really very good. But, contrast and exposure were always 2 settings that I kept a close watch over.
The E-520 was a major step forward as it eliminated much, if not all, of the exposure and contrast issues.
