I've been playing around with Lightroom Beta 4 for the last few days and have been pretty impressed by how robust and good it seems to be for a beta application. Lots of neat features esp if your cataloguing and keywording pictures, etc ontop of te image editing features. Lots to learn but its pretty straight forward considering what I'm doing with it and just seems to work with the Oly RAW files.

Cheers

It's not a Photoshop-like program...Photoshop was designed for graphics professionals and updated for Photographers, and even if you bought Lightroom (when it comes out in January) you may still want Photoshop to do the things Photoshop is good at.

Lightroom is an image developer program which is totally different, you really have to try it to understand it. It's the difference between an artist studio, and a film processing lab.

Suggest you download the Lightroom beta and try it out for yourself.
