Title says it all. I have a e-300 with the 2 kit lenses. and a short tripod. Thanks for any responses.

well the article you linked worked great.....however the weather in VA did not. a thunderstorm around 7pm put a god aweful haze in the air and the pics turned out rather fuzzy. the smoke lingered too bad to get any of the true beauty of the fireworks. There is always next year. :) I also need a tri pod to get over the heads of people who like to stand up during the fireworks. It was a learning experience and in the next few days i will be playing with long exposures and sparklers. Might be neat.
