great birddog shots!

stopped the action well, and the exposure are great given the tough snow and white/black dogs!

They look to be having an extremely huge amount of fun! This is a great set of captures.

Well if them dogs look like they are having fun but tell me is the one coming towards the camera lapping that air a bit largely? Is that a normal size of a bird dogs tongue? Looks quite long and floppy! #3

I have to admit I didn't notice..., but yes, it does look a bit longer than standard. I think its more that he has it hanging out the side, though.

Greg, I apologize if these made me snicker. While great shots, I find #4 and the last one humorous, due to the ears..

See it's still snowing up there, stay warm!

These guys let it go when they get a chance to run. Ears just go along for the ride:).

I had center weighted metering burried on his dark face for this shot a few years ago. He left the ground, metering read just snow and underexposed, but the one I wish I had nailed. The expression is priceless.

Greg......... I never tire of seeing your dogs and these are great fun. The last one, I know your feelings when I pull the trigger on a baseball shot I really want and miss, those times only happen once so a 'save is a save' in those situations and the photo means as just as much to us as a 'nailer' would because they remind us of the moment.

tnx for sharing .. boBB

OK so Greg C. has me on a roll on using ACR. Do you like this better?
