E-30 sunset

I've been so busy using the E-30 with either the 50-200mm lens or the 135-400mm lens that I've completely overlooked the 14-54mm lens- a fine little performer that really takes sharp images. The Sun was setting this evening with an interesting series ofclouds around making for a pretty fine sunset:

..............isn't it fun to rummage through the case, find that little booger which reminds us that there really is more to this hobby than extra long focal length.

Thanks for putting the small one on... this photo is a nice one!

Hey zig: nice shot, nice sunset from up north!

Is it my imagination, or does the sun look different in Florida?

Hi All,

Thanks for the kind comments.......

And yes Steven, the sunrises and sunsets in Florida really do look different to me. I think part of it is the color of the water, which is much different than up north. Of course, I'm thinking of what I see in Florida in March as compared to what's up north at that time of year.

BTW, nice shots from your neck of the world.

Hey, Steven and Zig... I lived in the Sunshine State for a decade. I agree... the sun both looks and feels different. Did you ever see the proverbial "flash of green" as the sun dropped below the horizon? Nice work from the both of you.
