Today was my 'day off' from doing anything constructively positive. In other words my wife was gone for most of the day and I just played at doing nothing, no list, no chores, no nuthin'.

So I found the E-300, it was in the backpack I never use but for storage, and fitted the 70-300 zuiko to it. Well, that package is really handsome and carries very well. I just totally like my E-300, always have, it fits and feels exactly right to me and this setup may just stay connected for a while of time.

The results are pretty good too from me, I learned a couple years ago to just learn from Greg's exercises and not to expect too much likeness to his products. But I do like how these turned out so here they are. I had fun today!

Wrotniak style .........the hardware mounted up for its photo made with Olympus C-7070WZ

......a Marigold bloom

.....the Live Oak out front is actually showing growth

....the house is at 425 ft & 70mm. OH, I ruined the 300mm shot

and finally another of those clouds with the CP, focus the lens, twist the filter, refocus & snap

.........the next two were shot to jpg and are direct from the camera, no PP, no crop

Hi Bob,

Very nice setup and the results speak for themselves.

As for the C-7070wz, that's a reallygreat camera. I have it's predecesser, the C-5060wz and wont part with it. Olympus really did a fine job with that series of digicams

Uh..........I know how you feel, my wife is leaving town for the next couple of days. Weather permitting, I'm going to a Cape Cod Baseball game tomorrow night ALONE and best of all -no honey do list!

The last wedding I shot, I took my E300 as the backup for my E510...didn't have an opportunity to use it, but it's obvious from your images it'svery useable with the extra length of the 70-300in light where you can keep the shutter speeds up, or in lower light if you don't mind working off a tripod. Nice and sharp, with great colors. That body styling does feel very nice in use.
