I've seen that image somewhere before. Think it was maybe his blog or someone tagged it in a post over in DPR. I hate to think what I would have looked like after being out in that. It wouldn't be pretty....

Yes the camera still working but he didn't shoot any picture that night because the glass was covered with ice.

He has another picture with the same set up and a covert over the lens body that avoid the ice to catch the glass.

This guy make fantastic star trails shots with the E3, E5 and an automatic shutter release.

I was up hiking near Everest, quite a few years back and ran into an Italian climbing party walking back to Kathmandu. All his gear back then was Oly. He worked maily with the OM1 because the battery life was so much better. Said both the OM1 & 2 worked great in the cold and altitude.
