Howdy guys. This is the first thread I've started since my adventure in internet hell last year.

I bought an E-510 about a month ago. One event that I've been looking forward to is the World of Wheels car show. Indoor cars shows are notoriously difficult to photograph. You are packed in like sardines and you can't back up for long shots (not with 5,000 people milling around). Sometimes, you have to get your pics from a foot away. That's a job for the 11-22mm. And using a flash at extreme wide angle when so close to a big subject is problematical…nice bright center with rapid light fall off at the edges.

So my challenge was to shoot everything with available light and hope that the image stabilization would carry the day. I'm very pleased with the results.

I've just added some pictures to my album. As of this posting, the first 12 photos (all of the INDOOR shots) are done with the 510 and 11-22 in available light. If I add more photos, just look for any file that begins with "wwrod.." The other (outdoor photos) are from last years car show season and were all shot with the E-500.

While at photobucket, check out my "Models" and "Airplane" albums which were all done with the E-system.

Very good Brent. It looks like you had fun. And you've shown that with a little technique this can be a decent low light camera.
