Shawn over at Imaging Resource has a hands on preview of the E3.

We have pricing as well, approx $1699USD and £1099.00.

Here's a comparison shot of the E3 and a 40D, looks as if its a wee bit bigger than an E1:

Wondering how many of us are going to make the jump to the new E3 once its on the market..

I might consider it, but I most likely will wait till after the christmas holidays to see if the price tags drops a little bit.. $1,700 seems a little steep right now, considering I currently own both the e510(main camera)and e500(backup camera)..

Altho, I might be interested in the new lenses!!

Four new lenses and a 2.0x teleconverter were also announced with the Olympus E-3: the Zuiko 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 SWD; the Zuiko 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 SWD; the Zuiko 14-35mm f/2.0 SWD; and the Zuiko 70-300mm f/4.0-5.6.

That 12-60mm sounds nice and so does the 70-300mm...

Guess I'll just have to wait for some reviews and see what street price is when everything is released..

hey Harj
yeah hmm very tempting
but i could get into 510 and a 7-14 instead, im not sure yet which way to jump
the 7-14 would boost my imaging options more i think
