EP1 goes to Sacramento

A few weeks ago we (my wife, my son, his school buddy and I) spent a day in Sacramento. We first went to Old Sacramento, visited the Train Museum and walked around town. Then we stopped at the State Capital since my son's buddy had never been there. All shots taken with the Zuiko 17mm (a great little lens IMO).

I really like train museums and those images seem to show a pretty darn nice one.

I also like what looks to be your use of one of the in-camera filters, too.

The 17mm lens is a great focal length. I would imagine most of the negative news on it compares to what is said about the 25mm pancake for the DSLR system and I like it more and more as I use it. I'd rather have the 17mm focal length. A 17mm f2 would be perfect. I could mount it on my E620 and feel like I had the digital version of a Konica Hexar AF I once owned and loved.

Great shots, Tullio-

You captured the mood of the State Capitol and the Railroad Museum very nicely. Well done!

Thanks Greg, Eetu and Joyce for your comments.

That is a very nice train museum indeed. One of the best I've been to (the best being the one in York-UK). Since my son loves trains, everywhere we go to we look for a museum.

Here are a few more shots of the museum...

This is the Restaurant car. Very fancy at that time.
