I e-mailed my local camera store and found out that the Olympus Zuiko 50mm F2.0 Macro lens is going for $700 CDN. Outch!! What else would you recommend as a fast 50mm lens for the E-300?

My new E-300 arrives tomorrow, after which i will register the serial number with olympus USA, who has promised to send a FREE adapter.....which I will use with the first nice F 1.8 50 MM lens that i can find ( hopefully with a mij stamp on it) While this will have to be used manually for focus, I believe that it will suffice for awhile. You might consider this alternative ?

Bogeyman
