Hikeing up the Nihahi Ridge Trail

Took the Dog from a walk yesterday up the Nihahi Ridge Trail.
West of Bragg Creek. 1 hour drive my home
Only 2.5 km 1 way but a 390 m vertical climb.
The Hike was cut a little short. Buddy cut his foot. He must stepped on a sharp Rock, Duck tape to the rescue.
He really took his time walking back.

E-520 and 14-54 Mk1

Beautiful - thanks for posting these. Does that snow stay there year-round?

You didn't carry Buddy home - you made him walk? :)

The snow is only on the upper elevations ( peaks ) year round.
The snow in the lower areas from my pictures came last week.

I made Buddy walk . That Pooch weighs 75 lbs .I feel so guilty :D
The last 500m went very very slow.
He went into the car and was asleep in 2 minutes

Fred..

Yeah I figured from his photo that Buddy would be a big load to carry. I was just giving you a hard time. ;)

Winter comes early in Alberta.
