Default Hummingbird moth

Yesterday was a busy day for the 510/70 300. First the close hawk, then some ok butterfly shots, and then this little guy came around the flower bed out front. Tough to get a shot, they don't stay in one place for more than a second or two and then on to the next flower.
Perspective wise, he was less than 2 inches long so it's a lot like taking shots of bumblebees flying : ) I liked how you can see through his wing on the flowers.

Hey, thanks for posting this! I was at the zoo yesterday, and saw one (it was the only thing in the butterfly garden), and I didn't know what it was.
