More from the great Northwest.

I was looking back at some more of the shots from Oceanside and thought I’d post a couple (or 7) more.

Most of these are from the walk we took in to the Cape Lighthouse. There's a Peregrine Falcon nest in that area of cliffs she came out to take a look at us with a couple of fly by swoops. One look at the camera though, and he/she left.

The big grey rock in the bay, Sharon recons is a huge troll with it’s finger in it’s mouth….but then she is a little odd. Those smudges to the left are Pelicans who like to poop on it's head..:)

Pretty area, if rugged scenery is your thing. Yes, that green stuff in the foreground is the cliff edge.

Beautiful rugged countryside Ken. Excellent shots, and really enjoyed them.

Tell Sarah it does look like a troll with its finger in its mouth.

I liked one of them so much I played with it a little in ACR - what do you think? (And if you don't want me to do this, tell me.)

Those are great shots. Need a boat to go around all those caves and rocks to find the pirate treasure.

Thanks for your feedback and comments ladies! I don't feel my shots are on the same level of sophistication as a lot of yours but I do enjoy my hobby. Or one of them..:)

Anytime Ted, glad you felt like kicking in. As for how I like it well, I feel you'd have done better with the 13.5 meg original. When it gets down to 200k it gets touchy doesn't it. Tad over saturated and sharp, you have brought the trees out and separated them from the cliff, that's what I tried to do, Thanks.

And Sharon want's to know who this hussy Sarah is...:)

Captain Drake, the guy who 'appropriated' the Spanish gold is reputed to have burried some just south of here.

That's what I was trying to do, thanks. Do you use ACR? All I did was up the Blacks slider a little, add some of the Clarity and Vibrance sliders, but most importantly added Contrast. If you don't mind my saying so, I think you should consider more contrast in the images I've seen you get on cloudy days up there. If you add contrast and the Clarity and Vibrance your images in that lighting will have more pop. I like your photography anyway but that's just my reaction to most images in that kind of flat lighting - they need more 3-dimensionality.

OK, OK, my memory isn't the best at 7am. But let me just be sure here - you're complaining that I forgot your wife's name? That's an unusual complaint from a husband. :):):)

Ted

No, I'm complaining that you're going to confuse me and I'll turn around and say "Hey Sarah" know what I mean...:D

Just heard one that made me laugh.
"My girl friend called me a stalker, well, she's not my girlfriend, yet"

My PP is just a quickie run through picasa. Have to agree a tad more contrast could help.
