Hello everybody.
I do own a e3oo and very happy about the camera, one of the point i do not like is the absence of a button for locking the focus. My question is,is it possible to customize mya camera and to be able to use either the AEL button(or the other button to the right) on the back and using as a focusing lock? thank you |

Half press and release, then switch to manual focus and the camera won't change again until you either rotate the focus ring, switch back to auto focus, or turn off the camera.
Note: With some cameras if you adjust zoom you have to refocus...don't know if the E-system is one of these. |

From the Custom Menu (spanner 1) select CUSTOM OK and set it to AF/MF.
To use, set the camera in Manual Focus mode. Point the camera to the object you want to focus on. Press and then release the OK button. The camera will auto-focus on the object, and will remain in this position as long as you do not turn the focus ring. Moshe |
