question about write speed

I have been considering buying a used 20N from ebay. Can somebody give me a brief description of the write speed. I have used a few digital cameras but am not up on write speed issues. From scanning the board I did see a description that said that you can get about 4/5 shoots off in a hurry and then have a 5 second write speed time. Any information is appreciated
