Mostly at ISO 500 with the OM 135 and 7mm extension tube.

Nice work. I have yet to even see anything other than plane littlw white ones around here. Maybe next year. Do you use live view? Having looked thru an E-620 i have to say it's not much better than my 500 and now that I've used the E-1 so much i really can't imagine having to use it in pure MF mode again.

Thanks John. No time for live view with these; they just dart about too much. I used the VF but still wasn't able to achieve critically sharp focus. The shots don't really show how good the lens really is. Autofocus definitely makes capturing action much easier but I sitll enjoy playing with this old glass

Depends on the lens. I can manually focus my Tamron SP 80-200/2.8 way faster than the Sigma 135-400 will focus, especially on things that move. Having the AF confirm adapter helps. Even with the E-1 it's hard to tell if the focus is spot on or not.
