Default Water Drops

My first attempt at capturing water drops.

E-30 w/12-60mm and FL50.

Used a blue gel over the FL50 to color the light.

I was just using a straw to drip drops into a bowl of water, hard to get any consistancy in placement or timing.

Nice start! I used a generic eye dropper but, placement is still hit & miss. I was thinking of an IV drip set-up but I don't want to invest a whole bunch into it. K.I.S.S. I have this tendency to go crazy-wild with a project that I may or may not ever use again after investing a bunch of money into it then wonder, "What happened here?"

The blue gel looks pretty cool. When I printed out one of my water drop shots, it came out looking like this! I colorized this in Gimp to sort of show what it looks like. Weird! On the monitor it looks just fine. Printing it out (tried several programs and settings) produces this.
