Being a person new to DSLR photography the great thing about my E-500 is the ability to keep adjusting the camera on the fly to get better and better pictures. Just a few pics I have taken over the past few months that are using various modes and settings to get some of my favorite shots.

This one with camera set on Program, ISO 800 using the 40-150mm lens. Manual Focus f4.1 Shutter at 1/20 no tripod, just a deep breath and click.

Glad to see you posting your very nice pictures. I like them all, but #2 is my favorite. I like the light on the cat's face. I have an e-500 too and am also a novice but am enjoying the camera and it's feature rich menu. Keep posting your pictures, we don't see that many around here...Donna

No 2 is a good shot - nice lighting, detailed and sharp. Very nice series as well and keep posting them pics !

Cheers
