Just purchased the e-300 twin lens kit. Camera is running firmware version 1.0.

if I update the camera firmware with the latest version will it put all the previous updates on or do I have to start at the begining and put all the previous updates myself?

cheers

Just the latest: remember to upgrade both the body and afterwards the 40-150mm lens. There is no upgrade for the 14-45mm lens.

All the upgrading will be handled by the Olympus Master software as described by the "software7" link above. You don't need to worry about a thing.

Considering how old this camera appears to be, you should probably start by upgrading Olympus Master first, see:

Just FYI, you run Olympus Master with the camera plugged in with a freshly charged battery, it checks to see what firmware the camera is, checks to see what the current version is, downloads the firmware, and then updates the camera.

Thanks for that. Everything went smoothly and all is now updated. Strange thing was the 40-150 lens was already running the new firmware but the body was still only on version 1.0.
