True Prajull, another basic but a bit better (and free!) is IrfanView.

I'm still intimidated by my CS2. Got the feeling one needs 4 years of college and a Phd to run it...

Gimp ... it is quite a tool.

Is it now available for Windows ? Yeah ... my days of assembler
and kernel digging were with Linux. But I did run it a couple of times
then ... seemed like a serious tool.

Maybe another reason to go back to Linux or FreeBSD once again.

I downloaded a copy trial version of Corel Photoshop ... just for a very
"visual" reason of E 500 on the box. Lets see what I can do with it.

But ... just for what I tried with Picasa ... here a couple of shots which
I "post-processed" with Picasa ... they were taken with my Sony DSC T9.

(The idea of green sky might seem very ... uhhmm ... i dunno ... but it did
look kinda interesting in the end ... I am thinking of getting a matt finish
8x10 print of it)

Cheers,

Here's is the other pic of the intriguing interiors I mentioned
earlier.

Its almost the same shot but I stepped back a little to capture
the screen directly behind the breathtaking high altar.
(Rather the structure which flanks the said screen)

This one is post processed with Corel Paintshop ...

Wonderful place innit?

This shot is a lot crisper than the closer view, that first onelooks like there's a bit of camera shake involved.

"Green sky huh?!" Interesting shot all the same.

I took my first pic with the 500 just about 12 months ago, went down to the local park just as this tug was coming out of the fog towing a raft of logs.

Oops! bit big innit? sorry about that!

I shot it on auto everything, just feeling my way.

I used the camera a lot in the winter and spring then I got busy during the summer. Now I want to get out again. Hoping to get back to England over Xmas, I'll definitely have it with me then.
