I went with my team to a football/soccer tournament over the weekend tothe small town of Wenatchee. About 3 hours away over the Cascade Mountains East of Seattle.
We didn't make the finals (again!) So, having time, my wife and I took back roads over the high desertalong the Columbia Riverand ran into these guys.
First time I've seen them in the wild so we were pretty excited, They put on a National Geographic show for us with the young or lessor rams siffing around the ewes. Then, you hear a bellow from across the valley and the bigram moved in bearing a grudge.

Low light and a long lens didn't make for good photography but I was pleased to catch them.
