I have an E-500 on the way.

Now have a freind who wants me to trade some recording equipment for some Nikon Lenses.

Considering the trade but a question.

I can use the Nikon Lenses if I buy the 4/3 adapter ... Right?

However it means I will only have manual focus, and have to control the Aperture manualy..... am I right?

Anyting Else I should know or consider about using other lenses?

Hi, I just posted a pic using my e-500 and a 55mm Nikkor lens and a 4/3 adapter. First time I have used it, manually focusing under lamp light. Seem like a good thing to me. Donna

FYI, here's an example - Shot with my E-1, using a 300mm 2.8 Nikkor ED stopped down to f4.8 with a Kiron 7 element 2X teleconverter (so it was effectively a 600mm lens, shot at f9.5):

I'm also bumping an older thread to the top which descripes using older Olympus manual focus lenses with adapters on the Olympus DSLRs. The older Nikon MF lenses work the same way, but they require a different adapter. That thread probably answers most of fingersonly's questions.
