Not had much chance to go out and shoot the last couple of weeks and to make matters worse the net connection at home was down for over a week. I did get about 30 mins during lunch last week to do some street shots - mainly B&W. I wasn't too sure about how good the E1 was at B&W but have been pleasently suprised how well they come out. All shot as RAW and converted into B&W using Lightroom.

1. A film shoot down town - didnt; see anyone famous but then again I was in a rush to get into work :

2. Shooting Shadows - I decided to shoot shadows at lunchtime and spotted this guy reading a newspaper:

3. Shopping in the market

4. Shadows in colour:

5. Final available light shot - f6.3 1/4s ISO 400 at 108mm. The noise in the pic just works with this in B&W.

Cheers

A great set of images - very 'gritty'. The last shot if handheld is amazing.

Hi Bill

All the shots were hand held - with the last one I wasn;t sure if I had got the pic or completely blurred it out becuase I had a wee bit of shake just before I took the shot.

Cheers

Thanks Donna

Hopefully, if its nto rainign tomorrow I'm planning to take both the E1 + FZ10 to work with me so I can get 30-60mins of pic taking. It'll all be street photography as there won;t be time for anything else.

Cheers
