I longs for a SLR and finally bought the E-500,
my first outdoor marco shot at botanical garden with 35mm f3.5 marco len.
only few good photos I post, other mostly too dark or out of focus.
need to save $$$ for a better Len.

Eh??? There is no better lens. The Olympus digital 35mm macro has incredibly good resolution. The digital 50mm has other advantages (f2, weatherproof with e-1, more tele) and disadvantages (very expensive, probably a bit heavier) but I doubt that it is better than the 35mm.

However, macro lenses and tele lenses are difficult to use and you have to learn how to use it. Just keep practicing. Better equipment has never made anyone a better photographer; a mix of talent and plenty of experience has.
