I spotted this little tutorial on a portable wireless flash setup over at Dgrin and had been meaning to post it ago. Here's the link:

What you need:

A light stand
32" white umbrella - I'm assuming a soft box would also do
Sunpak 383 or any other flash head
Hot shoe Umbrella mount
Pocket wizard wireless reciever/transciever

I think the only expensive part of the setup is iPocket wizard wireless trans/reciever.

hi Harj

at a guess you would want it for portraits (which Im hopeless at)
but it would be great for product photography too, which interests me a bit
might give me a use for that old umbrella, since it never rains here

what a great site, theres all sorts of stuff goin on there
