I've been usign Lightzone for a week now and just started to play with B&W - here's some examples (all taken on Sunday downtown):

2. National portrait Gallery

3. Heading home

4. Chilling

I really like the way you work with files in this app, although its taken a wee bit to get used to it and I think it does superbly with B&W's. I may just have to look into what the pro version can do - but this linux version is free and its a cracker.

Here's a shot of a policeman's crash-helmet I took at the New YEar Celebrations:

I think it does a wonderful job with colour too but then again it could be just me. The rest of the days shots which are 75% colour are here and all created in LightZone.
