Leica says 25mm f1.4 available by April.

But 510g.? That weighs more than the new cameras! I guess fast glass is heavy. Especially good fast glass.

Hey greg

Thanks for the link - darn that lens is small ! I was expecting it to be huge but the 14-150 looks to be just a wee bit bigger than the 14-54. My only gripe over the lens is its slow - f3.5-5.6 but sizewise it does look just fantastic but so does the 12-60. Now I'm sure they could easily do a 14-100f2.8-3.5/4 lens it could be a wee bit bigger but its definetly doable and thats the lens I want.

Here's the 25mm f1.4 on the DMC L1:

How much better than the Sigma 30mm f1.4 is anyones guess but I think it will be a very good lens indeed. Projected price in Japan is 100,800 Yen about $750USD.
