I have a problem wit the E-500. I bought the camera 1 year ago and until now I didn't have a problem. Two days ago I was making a shooting and in the middle of the work, the E-500turn off every time that I press the shutter. I change the battery and the camera turn on like always, I review the pictures taken, but when I start to take new pictures the same problem. I was outdoor, and the temperature was like a 103 f (I live in Puerto Rico), the camera was hot when the problem happened. I put the camera in a climate room (70-75f). I charged the batteries. I waited 2 days, but with the batteries fully charge I had the same problem.

Can somebody helpme to kown was the problem is? and what I need to do?

Thank you very much and sorry for my english, is my second language.

There is a setting that locks the shutter up after the shot and I'd bet that you ended up changing that in the menu.

I'd reset the camera and see if it straightens out your problem.

I just looked it up and its called "anti-shock" and its in the camera 2 menu. Turn it to "off".
