Can anyone tell me if the B + W 58mm Infrared Filter # 093 will work with the E-500?. Looking to get into a little infrared photography without modifying my camera.

A lot of what you need to know about shooting IR with the E-500 is on the following page (and while you're there click on the "Other Articles" link for lots more useful info):

As for your particular filter, the 093 is a little too dark; it's 830nm vs. the 680-720nm typically recommended, the B+W #092 would be the better choice if you were sticking with that brand (from what I read via a Google search).

Thanks Mikefellh,

I appreciate your reply. A lot of good information there and I had forgot about that article.
