I`m thinking of buy a small very compact reflex , so i thought Olympus would be the way to go.

Can someone tell me if the e410 is better in quality then the e400 , i mean better sharpeness , better ISO , metering .

I know about the liveview but that`s not the reason i`d choose the e410.

Thanks

Not a lot of difference between the two.

However, the 410 has an improved sensor, as theyreplaced the old Kodak CCD sensor with a Live MOS senor. Also, Olympus updated the processor, the 410 uses the TruePic III processor; claiming faster and better image quality. Continuous shooting in the 410 is nowunlimited at JPEG HQ.

Overall differences are small, but you get slightly newer technology with the 410. If you can get the E410 for only a little more cost, than go with the newer model. If there is a much better price for the 400, than go with the older model.

Good luck.

Just know that the E-4xx cameras use a smaller battery than the rest of the line (BLS-1 vs. BLM-1).

You can learn a lot more about the Olympus cameras at:
