Im wondering which CF card i should buy for the e510. Is 10 MB/sec fast enough writting speed? Or shouldis 40MB/sec noticeablyfaster when installed in the e-510

Thanks

Ignore quoted speeds...most companies exaggerate quoted speeds.

Unfortunately no one has done a chart of write speed tests for the E-510 yet, but here is the list for the E-500:
http://myolympus.org/E500/writetime/

The fastest write speed is on the Sandisk Extreme III with is rated by Sandisk at 20MB/Second, and the Ultra II is rated by Sandisk at 9MB/Second.

But with cards you not only have to think about write speeds but read speeds too.

I too have an E-510 and was interested in getting a new memory card for it.

You may want to look at the information provided here:

good luck.
