Since I bought the Pentax K to 4/3 adapter for my E510, I've been playing with my old Pentax-mount lenses. So far, I've been impressed with the results. Sure many pictures were pure garbage, specially at the widestapertures. Butoverall, I think the E510 handles the old lenses well. These shots were taken with the oldPentax SMC-A50mm prime with aperture set to f4 (the two most usable apertures for this combo were f4 and f8. All other aperturesproduced soft and very noisyimages, specially f1.7 andf2). I used Neatimageon the first pictureto clean up noise and cropped the second. No other PP done to them.
