Hi, In answer to your question, I have just received one of these AF adaptors, they are very well made and they work with all Olympus DSLRs including the E1 . They seem to do everything that is claimed and I am very pleased with it. If you have any more questions, I will be happy to answer you. romo

Good morning Romo,

Thanks foryour response. I'm glad to hear you're pleased with the adapter.

I do have a question. The one thing that concerned me about the af confirm/adapter was the method by which the AF chip isattached to the adapter. According to the ad, it is super glued to the adapter. Do you get a sense when mounting the adapter to your camera that the chip is a bit fragile? If you got instructions from the manufacturer what if anything does he say about that?

I guess that's 2 questions.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

regards,

Zig

Hi Zig, In my opinion these AF adaptors are very well made. the chip maybe initially superglued but is backed up with epoxy-resin done neatly and looks very strong. I would definately recommend these. Tell me how you get on if you decide to purchase one. All the Best Romo.

Hi romo,

I do plan on ordering one and certainly will provide feedback after I've had a chance to give it a try.

Thanks again.

For those who have been following this post and are curious as to what this AF confirm adapter looks like and what the manufactuurer has to say, here is a link;
