Hi Guys
Those are nice astro pics of the moon, capturing luner eclispe, nice job with 700mm willy. did you crop pic, or is that the kind of magnification your getting ?

How do you guys find taking constelations as time needs to be longer do you have much truble with noise as olympus are not as good in this department. They are getting better with the e3

hope to see more of your astro pics.

around 75% crop, but not bad for antique gear. the only thing i know about astrophotography is, i intend on remaining as ignorant as possible, & you need a telescope.

i used a leica 350mm f/4.8 Telyt-R + leica 2xtc. i think 800mm is about optimum for moonshots on 4/3.

Hi Willys

is that a CZ on he E1 ??? It looks just fab if it is !

Regards the setup for the shot - thanks for the info on that, I was wondering when Leica had made a 400mm lens and the serious $$$$$$ :?:O money that it would cost.

Cheers

a zeiss zf 50.heres the hot setup for a 400mm leica. runs about 15,000 usd. as a bonus, you get lotsa extra focal lengths, lol, but the 2xtc is extra.
