April sunshine may not mean much to some of you but up here on the upper left coast, it's "Great!"

Smiling happy people in work and in the shops......and it brought the boids out. I caught a few of thisguy on my E500 with the old 40-150 at 150mm. f4.5 @ 1/500. Hand held. I had fun and machine gunned it, put the camera on action mode, spot focus and justshot plenty of photos. Got some more (Lots)in flight but I like these.

He...or she? Looked happy and tired last week, they came in on a sleet storm but my wife had their sugar fix waiting for them. :-)

Wow! Nice photos. I know how twitchy hummingbirds can be and how difficult it is to keep them in focus. Nice work.

..........like Ted said, "WOW" !!!

I just see grackles and mockingbirds about my yards. The mockingbirds are kinda nice but like Roy Orbison's song.... "mean as she can be".

Thanks for showing the pretty boids and nice work with the 40-150 'OLD', I have one and won't part with it.
