Hi All,

Olympus is running a promotion on certain lenses and flash units in their product line.

Attached is the olympus promo sheet in a PDF file.

http://www.olympusamerica.com/files/..._Rebate_08.pdf

(DUOHHH!!!.. I forgot to add the pdf file the first time out)

Seems the best prices which includes the rebate, can be found at B&H Photo.

I keep looking at getting a 14-54mm lens and the pricing is getting quite attractive.

Hey Zig.

I noticed the price is getting better and better too. I'm just wondering if they will eventually discontinue the lens to replace it with the 12-60mm. Has anyone any thoughts / info?

Hi,

If Olympus discontinued the 14-54mm, I believe that it would be a first in the digital line of lenses. My guess is that they would keep it simply because, it's amid price alternative to the 12-60mm. I also believe they want to grow their lineup of lenses-not reduce it.

As for the pricing, yes, the pricing is definitely getting better. Now if they would only lower the price of the 12-60mm ................

regards,

Zig

hmm, perhaps it's more worth it to buy the 14-54mm brand new (was considering picking it up used).

Hi,

At $375.00 (B&H Photo), the price of the 14-54mm is getting to the point at which it's just not worth getting a used one since the warranty is not transferrable. Unless, of course, you know the seller and the price is just too good to pass up.
