I've been trying to get this little guy for a few days now, he's new to the hood.

e500. 40-150 kit lens. set for sports CAF and bursts.

I didn't need those settings as it turned out but usually the slightest noise get's them - gone. I'm left with photos of deer butt..:-)

...........looks like the 'chum' worked. Mom sure looks content and bambi is quite a good looking little rascal.

I don't have much of an animal kingdom around here but there are some goats and a donkey nearby (may be those that used to be over at gwillys place). The other day we had an armadillo sitting in the middle of the street where a car left it propped up and every once in a while I see a possum going out across the yard, but no real pretty stuff like yours.

The 'chum' was out there for the wood ducks but the deer are regulars now.

I thought that armadillo and possum were high on the menu list in road kill restaurants in Texas.......:-)

Bof'em ustabe gud but that wuz 'fore they started sprayun for skeeters. Now possums are thot about the same ways as them tamaters cauzin the prublums around.

The armdiloos are wurth more for thim costum lamp basus theez dayz.

So weer back to chikun fryed stake and gravee on the reglar list at most drive-ins, diners and dives in theez parts.
