Man it was hot today....got to the Arboretum before 11am and it was already something over 90 degrees. Suprisingly....to me at least, the grounds were full of great subjects, many of which were in the shade. I could have spent MUCH longer there, but the heat was really working on me after around 3 hours...

All shot with the E510 DSLR at settings between ISO 200-800. Left the noise filter turned off for all of these and processed the RAW files in Olympus Studio. The vast majority were taken with the EX25 tube fitted...

Some of my favorites..

Here'stwo where it was "just" the lens....no EX25 tube..

Hey Greg,

Man you've got that 70-300mm with EX-25 combo really 'cookin' ............ I love taking macros of flowers 'cause you never know what you're going to actually see when you view the images on the pc i.e. that spider in frame 7.

As always, all great shots.

At about 125 bucks, that EX-25 teleconverter is a good deal. Gotta get me one.

So, yours again are good........... but for me it is #1 and the last two, especially the last two.

Thanks for the samples, I will see the 'smuggers' for the rest.

Here's a much cooler subject. One of the extremely nice arrangements we get at the office each week...a built-in, climate-controlledsubject to play with closeup photography.

Shot at ISO 400 withan FL50 flash providing the illumination..
