I finally sucked it up and bought the Zuiko 12-60. I've only had it a few days, but it sure is a BIG step above my kit 14-42 lens. These are a few of my first efforts (Oly 510 camera) This is a part of Milford lake, taken this morning.

A Kansas Flint Hills sunset. I really should have had a tripod for this, but just made a quick stop on the way to Topeka because it was so dramatic.

And finally, a really tiny tree frog. I'm going to Colorado next week, I hope to put the lens to a lot of good use. I debated long and hard between the 12-60 and the 14-54, so far I'm pleased with my decision. Sigh, now I will have to wait awhile for the 50mm prime, since I shelled out for the more expenside lens.

Hi,

Congrats on getting the 12-60SWD.

Nice shots all... But I'mpartial tosunsets/ sunrises and find the one you posted, my favorite...................thanks for sharing.

BTW, When you pick up the 50mmf2 macro, you'll be quite amazed at the IQ. It's a great lens - as is the 12-60SWD

regards,

Zig

Looks like a great decision to me! Very nice image quality, with great lookingout of focus areas.
