Saturday was a lovely day in the yard here also, 90' and sunny. I noticed that the pond needed some algae pulling out. Amazing how that stuff grows, it's like pulling out a wet green t-shirt!

It wasn't until I was doing this that I started to see the water lillies. I mean they're always there, I just didn't notice. So in I went to pick up the camera and tripod (IS) and tried a few shots. The sun made for sharp contrast but I think the dark areas in this case added to the shot. Here are 4 results.

E500, 70-300 zuiko, with a touch from picasa for PP.

Okay Ken: you keep posting those great shots and I'm going to have to consider buying that lens. Shame on you, because I really don't have the money to buy it now!

Thanks Steve, did you mean, If you can do it anyone can.....:-)

I bought the lens because I was forced to by certain members of this board and you know what, I'm very happy with it. It's such a versatile lens. When the time comes for you to buy one you won't be disappointed.

and neither will we..!
