We have had a very unsettled Summer , weatherwise. We've had lightning storms pop up almost every other night for what seems like weeks now. Here's a shot just before the deluge last evening;

That is ominous Zig and also a good photo. I love the sun under the cloud shots.

Yep ! I like this kind of photo too and your's is a nice one.

For us in North Central Texas today is total rain, the fun kind you can be in and not get soaked immediately, but it has been doing this for several hours now and the temp is 30F below two weeks ago, it is 75F right now. What a treat this is.

No photo ops today where Greg and I live............but it should be really pretty out all next week.

Hi Bob,

75 degrees! must be exhilerating.......... I woke yesterday morning to a cold front that pushed in overnight, and like your weather, ours changed dramatically yesterday. The wind was blowing from the Northwest. The air was crisp, clean and not a hint of humidity. I went and took a ride on the boat and had to put on a sweatshirt-which is really an exception this time of the year.

Hope this change allows you the opportunity to take a photo trip.

Hi Ken, Bob,

Thanks .............. Funny how I never managed to stop to notice things like the color and make up of the sky, clouds, etc before I started taking pictures. Now, I find myself pulling the car over and just admiring the beauty thats around me.

As for the photo itself, I really feel like the clarity and sharpness of shots such as this one would benefit from using a fasterlens such as the 14-54mm ZD. I keep looking at the pricing for that lens getting a bit lower. That is most likely the next lens purchase I make.

Zig
