Almost walked into this guys "house" this morning. the early morning sun was shining 'though' him so I went back to get the camera for a couple of shots.

Put up the tripod for this shot, he didn't seem to mind the camera.

Focussed on his/her head :-) Spot focus with center spot. Translucent almost.

Got bounced off line by the computer twice trying to post the photographs....something about spiders...?

really liked that second one. That is the great thing about spiders: they'll stand still. Much better than those pesky bees and butterflies.

Hi Ken,

Nice shots. I actuallly prefer the 1st one.....having the web backlit, makes for an interesting shot. It's also as much of the spider as I want to see.:O

I hate the little things.

Like these shots of the spider, Scouse. And something else: Do you have a link to your place, Camano Island (perhaps an own gallery)? ´d like to see something from places of people I communicate with ...

Thanks Martin, sorry I don't have a gallery but I do plan on setting one up this winter. My work. Real estate has just about shut down for the winter so I know I'll have some time. SYour Zenfoliolooks good, what do you think?

Your's and Gregs galleries have me inspried.

I googled in Camano Island WA and found a few hits including this one. I live right by the 't' in Saratoga..!
