I wish I could customize the FN button on my E510 to control AF like you can with the E520. There are several nice additions/updates to the E520 that should sway anyone looking at an "either/or" between the E510 and E520 towards the E520.

Hi Greg

I think there's some nice touches that they introduced on the E3 thats passed onto the E520. I'm wondering how the EA1 stacks up against both the E3 and the E520 in terms of features, resolution, IQ and handling.

Cheers

No doubt there will still be some items missing that will sway many who need those features to continue buying the E3. The newer technology I am sure will place certain performance levels beyond both the E520 and E3, namely resolution as I bet it will be 12MP. Whether those 12 megapixelsproduce a better image than the 10 megapixelsof the E3 is anyone's guess.

Hey gang: Recently rec'd my copy of the latest Pop Photography Magazine, and it had an interesting review of the E520. I checked with the web site and they also have it posted.

http://www.popphoto.com/cameras/5569...mera-test.html

An interesting comment in the report was:

"And we judge the E-520's imaging superior to that of the 14.2MP Sony Alpha 350, whose noise was such that images at higher ISOs lost significant resolution when cleaned up with noise reduction. "

Anway, just thought I would share that with the group.
