I accidentally grew these pumpkins myself. I got a new compost bin last year and, afterHalloween, I threw the old jack-o-lanterns into the heap."Mystery" plants started to grow this spring when I spread the compost.Much to my surprise, I was a pumpkin farmer!

These guys made the return trip to the composter this morning but I wanted to take a group portrait of my handy work. It's a dull, grey day and the pumkins looked kinda' blah. I figured some heavy post processing was called for.

I shot this with the 50mm F2 on an E-500. I boosted the color saturation and contrast. I lowered the brightness and added some diffuse glow in Photoshop Elements 5.0. I really like the effect. It looks "day-for-night"and has a proper amount of spookiness.

.................now that is recycling at its best and great carvings too. For this presentation the heavy PP is alright, I like it. Good job.

Without post processing, it's a real snoozer of an image:

Hi Brent

Nice work! Really think the PP is pretty cool for the original and works really well.

Cheers
