Hey Tullio,

Good to hear from you and thanks.

I did take a peek at your B&W shots using the Z28. Very nice indeed.

BTW,I had my hands on an LX3 while visiting a friend of mine. He had just bought for his wife. It is really a very well designed and built digicam.Unfortunately, I didn't have the time to play around withit and take some images with it.

Sounds like you're going to get one.I'll be looking forward to your 1st post.

Zig

Thanks, Zig. Yes, I will eventually buy the LX3. It seems like a real good, compact camera. I will keep you posted!

Tullio,Zig and Steven-

Like Tullio, I am looking for an LX3, an am hoping that the 1st quarter of 2009 brings us some lower prices.

Excellent series, Zig, I love your E520 photos.

Steven- the yellow flower shot is great.

......hey Zig,

The first picture is just right for my liking. It is worthy of printing large and framing IMO.

The grandchildren don't hold still for 'picture taking' after a few episodes, that is for sure. However, your Elly and my Marissa are two very pretty posers so let's make all the photos we can while they are willing. Yours of Elly is quite nice.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bob,

Thanks, much appreciated.

Funny that you should mention that the photo is good for framing as I did just that! It'sodd to mehow sometimes whenI look at an image on the monitor, it looks so good that I print it only to be dissappointed. This one actually (IMHO) looks better printed.

It's hanging in our family room.
