I am currently training to go over to Iraq and we have been doing some training in preparation. Here are some random shots taken. I have more but still going through them.

Hi SS,

It is indeed a great lens! Sure beats using those legacy lenses and trying to manually focus them.

May God keep you out ofharm's way in Iraq.

Thanks very much for posting a really great series. Were they all taken with the ZD 70-300mm lens? If so you have really captured the moment.

...........hey soldier,

The 70-300ZD is a really good lens and your series does show its capability in your hands.

Thanks for posting the photos and thanks for what you do.

I just want to say "Thank You".

Thanks for what you do, and thanks for the picks that show a taste of the training you need to do your job well.

Ditto on keeping yourself safe over there, and did I say....

Thank You!

P.S.

The 70-300 is a keeper.

Cool shots, looks like the lens is working well for you. The 4th is a cut above the rest with great atmosphere and emotion.

Just with my moderators hat on can you please keep photos to about 750 pixels for the longest side so they can be viewed more easily by our members? Feel free to add links to larger ones so people can check them out if they have larger screens/higher speed connections (some of our users are still on dial up due to their diverse locations around the world).

Thanks and hope you have a safe tour!! Hope the only shooting you need to do while there is with the camera.

Mark
