Good morning guys,

Yikes!! Those are extreme close ups. Wonderful clarity and detail. I've never tried my hand at photographing insects. I'm clearly missing out.

I'm flattered that you guys would be interested in seeing some of my fly photos. Here's the link to my site on PBase:

Flies are in the "Tools of the Trade" Gallery.

regards,

Zig

That has to be about the coolest thing I've ever seen. You are an artist!!! Thanks for shareing that! I almost feel I should be calling them by their first names because they seem like they have their own personality.

If you wanted to add a few more to this thread, I certainly wouldn't mind! If not, everyone visit and click "slideshow".

..............yes, thanks again Zig,

I have looked again and I am as amazed this time as the before times. I just sit in wonderment at the artistry of fly tying, your gallery is as good as it gets for presenting your craft results. You are indeed an artist, the photography is right on too.

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for the kind comments. But you guys have to stop 'cause my heads already too big.:?

And for that matter, I've never had a photochosen to be postedon Steve's digicams' POTD website or on the cover of a sporting magazine like you fellas have.

As for the saltwater streamer flies, I really do enjoy tying them in the Winter. It reminds me of the good times I have fishing for Bass, Bonito, and Blues in the Summer.

Hi Greg, Bob and Zig

Have to say some of the best macro shots I've seen in quiet some time! I missed the bird thread so I'm going to have to dig it out!

Cheers

Harj

Okay fldspringer, shame on you. :?

I have a lot of shots of honey bees. But now I can't post any of them because Your honeybee shot is so much better than any bee photo that I have in my collection. There ought to be a law!!!

I just wanted to show I was brave by getting 4.5 inches away from a stinging insect.

Then some guy gets about as close to an alligator:sad:

The more the better. Show me da bees.
