Over at LL, there's a pretty interesting article on street photography at night and what camera to use... in this case teh recommendation went to the G1.

Hi Harj,

good catch and thanks for sharing. The article does place noise at High ISOs in proper perspective. So much is made of noise these days that people have an unrealistic expectation of what cameras can and should do.

He's right about the lack of anyfast glass, though for the M4/3.

Hi Zig

I thought it was a good article and it clearly shows (in my opinion) that there is a definite market that the m43 format can capture and dominate if they do it right. As you and the writer mention .. whats really missing is the fast glass and I'm wondering how difficult it will be to design f1.4 -f2 lenses for the format. If they do that and bring the Leica D and ZD IQ to the table then Pana and Oly are going to hit a home run.
