I got this lense thinking I could use an OM-4/3's adapter. Either I got the wrong adapter or something's amiss. Anyone know anything about this lens?

I see a K in the model name you included in the subject line, so might be a Pentax K mount lens (a.k.a., PK mount). You'll see some diagrams on this page:

http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/technology/K-mount/K.html

It would probably help if you included a photo of the lens mount. ;-)

If it is Pentax K Mount, you can find K Mount lens to 4/3's camera body adapters for it.

Many thanks for your help. It was sold as a Sigma Olympus OM lens. Here's a shot of the mount:

Good (photo of mount posted). Hopefully, some of our members more familiar with the nuances between mounts will see this thread and let you know what you've got.

I'm pretty sure Jim is correct relative to the lens having Pentax K mount.

Here is a similar lens posted on EBay.. It has detailed photos of the lens for sale. I f you look at the photos and compare them against the lens you have, it should match up well.

Hope this helps

It's just not worth the effort I'd have to put forth to use this lens. I guess I'll put it up on Craigslist.

Thanks for your help, guys.

Default Reference Sigma KII Lens Olympus

Know this is a bit late but was looking for information on this lens as I have one - with Olympus Bayonet Mount. Thought I'd investigate the K II on the lens (knowing it doesn't refer to a K Mount)

The answer is:-

KII stands for...

Kudos Information, Inc. (now Sigma Kudos)

hope that clears the matter for anyone else looking for information on this lens
